Privacy policy

General information

The protection and security of your personal data is very important to us. We therefore store and process data exclusively in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You, as a user, agree to data processing in terms of this policy. The latest version of the GDPR can be found at http://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/DE/TXT/HTML/?uri=CELEX:32016R0679&from=DE
This privacy policy applies exclusively to this website. If you are redirected to other sites via links on our pages, please inform yourself directly on the redirected website about how your data is handled. Your personal data (e.g. title, name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, etc.) will only be processed by us in accordance with the provisions of European data protection law. The following regulations inform you about the type, scope, purpose and duration of the collection, processing and use of personal data by the person responsible:

We would like to point out that data transmission via the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail, or via non-encrypted websites) can have security gaps. Full protection of the data against access by third parties is then not possible.

If you place an order via our website, your transmitted or entered data will be checked manually or automatically against the existing data records for validity and topicality and, if necessary, compared to correct the data stored by us. This may require our staff to contact you. This shall take place by e-mail or telephone.

Links

We check links that leave our website very carefully from an editorial point of view. Nevertheless, we assume no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the content of pages linked from this website or from any other internet presence.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form including the contact data you provide there will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We only pass on this data to service providers required for processing the enquiry. Should a contractual agreement be reached, we intend to store your data for the legally prescribed period. Should this not be the case, your data will be deleted after 13 months if there is no legal basis for further storage.

Live-chat

We offer a live chat on our website in order to be able to process your enquiries quickly and easily. For this purpose, we use the tool of a third party provider, who is acting for us as a data processor through a special contract. Data is processed exclusively in the EU. Here we only process your personal data that is necessary for the further processing of your enquiry. This is usually your name, your e-mail address and address as well as vehicle data, if necessary and voluntarily provided.
The chat is not available outside office hours. If you do leave us a chat message, we will record your name and e-mail address to contact you again.
In order to constantly improve our services, the live chat tool also transmits the website visited, your device type and your browser type, but your IP address is not transmitted.
This data, as well as the chat history, is stored for 3 months for security reasons.
Should a contractual agreement be reached between you and this garage, we intend to store your data for the legally prescribed period. If this is not the case, your data and chat history will be deleted after 3 months.
You, as a user of the LiveChat function, may not enter and thus process any personal data in the chat that falls under “special categories” according to Article 9 of the GDPR. This data includes information on race, religion and health data. We also prohibit you from entering payment information or credit card numbers.
You can find more information about third party providers on this site under the point: Incorporation of services and third party content.

Competitions, vouchers & invitations to tender

If you send us your personal data via a competition, voucher or invitation to tender, your details including the contact details you provide there will be stored by us for the purpose of processing & participation in the relevant competition, provision of a voucher or the relevant invitation to tender and in the event of follow-up questions. If necessary, we will pass on this data to the businesses associated with the competition, the voucher or the tender. We intend to store your data for the legally prescribed period.

Web analysis with Google Analytics

This website uses functions provided by the web analysis service Google Analytics. Its provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses such target-oriented cookies. More information on the handling of user data by Google Analytics is available from the Google Privacy Policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de
You can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie about your website use by Google and the processing of these data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available from the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored in the user's computer and enable their website use to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website by its users is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

The IP addresses of visitors are truncated on this website before they are sent to Google for analysis. This IP anonymization is based on an agreement with Google for companies in the European Economic Area and other contracting states. Google will use this information at the behest of the website operator to analyse the users' website use, compile reports about website activities, and provide further services relating to website and internet use to the website operator.

The IP address sent to Google Analytics by your browser will not be linked with other Google data. Users can prevent the installation of cookies by providing their browser software with the corresponding settings. This offering points out to the users, however, that they may not be able to make full use of all the website's functions in this case. Users can also prevent the collection and transfer of the data generated by the cookie about their website use (incl. their IP address) to Google and their processing by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

More information about Google's data use for advertising purposes, setting options and objection options is available from the Google webpages at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites?hl=en  ("How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services"), https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=en ("How Google uses cookies in advertising"), https://adssettings.google.com/anonymous?sig=ACi0TCg5A32ghUevRjWKmmNcPTlr6BcJrKik862m0OO80vbjeIOlwZrE1CBfrD2azBt-ZXnq8B5xcn4j-RnhFxqSizh0T7ro5A&hl=en ("Control the information Google uses to show you ads") and http://www.google.com/ads/preferences/  ("Decide which ads Google shows you").

As an alternative to the browser add-on or in the browser of mobile devices, please click this link to prevent all future data collection by Google Analytics on this website. This will install an opt-out cookie in your device. If you delete your cookies, you will need to visit this link again.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are as follows: Name of the accessed website, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited site), IP address and the requesting provider.
This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources. The provider uses the protocol data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimisation of the offer.

However, the provider reserves the right to check the log data retrospectively if there is a justified suspicion of illegal use based on concrete evidence.
The log data will be deleted when there is no longer a legal necessity.

Customer surveys & market research purposes

If you have given your prior consent, we will transmit the necessary data to our service providers in order to conduct customer and / or market research surveys.
All of these processors (service providers) only have access to essential information that is necessary for the execution of the tasks assigned by us.
We contractually ensure that our processors comply with all necessary security measures in relation to this information and do not use the information for any purpose other than the performance of the task assigned to them by us.
If any follow-up questions arise from the survey, this information will be forwarded to the garage taking care of you for them to consult with you.
The data will be deleted or made anonymous after fulfilment of the purpose and expiry of legal storage periods, unless you have consented to further storage.

Advertising and invitations to events

If you have given your prior consent, we will transmit the necessary data to our service providers to send you invitations to events and information on current products.
All of these processors (service providers) only have access to essential information that is necessary for the execution of the tasks assigned by us.
We contractually ensure that our processors comply with all necessary security measures in relation to this information and do not use the information for any purpose other than the performance of the task assigned to them by us.
The data will be deleted or made anonymous after fulfilment of the purpose and expiry of legal storage periods, unless you have consented to further storage.

Online Shop

If you use our online shop, the personal data you provide there (name, address, ...), as well as other technical data (creation date, orders, payment activities, ...) are collected, stored and, if necessary, passed on by us to the extent necessary to provide the contractual services. This is therefore done for the purpose of fulfilling the contract and on the basis of Art. 6(1) sentence 1 letter b GDPR. Failure to provide such data may result in the contract not being concluded.

Should a contractual agreement be reached, we intend to store your data for the legally prescribed period. Should this not be the case, your data will be deleted after 13 months if there is no legal basis for further storage.

Your payment data will be transmitted to the appropriate payment service provider, depending on the payment method selected by you. The payment service provider is responsible for your payment data. For information on, in particular, the body responsible for payment service providers, the contact details of payment service providers' data protection officers and the categories of personal data processed by payment service providers, please contact your chosen payment service provider.

Newsletter

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need an e-mail address from you. Your first name and surname can be given voluntarily and serve only for personal address. Further data is not collected. We use this data exclusively for the dispatch of the newsletter selected by you via the newsletter system Mailchimp or our CRM system. You can find more information about Mailchimp’s privacy policy here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/

In special cases, shipping is handled by service providers (agencies), whereupon your data is transferred to these service providers, using a contract for order processing.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time by following the “Unsubscribe” link in the newsletter.

SSL encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the enquiries you send to us. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser address line changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Revocation, amendments, corrections and updates

According to the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the data subject has the right to be informed about the data relating to him or her:

  • Right to information,
  • Right to correction or deletion,
  • Right to restrict processing,
  • Right to contradict processing,
  • Right to data portability.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us.

Please send any enquiries regarding data protection to us by e-mail at dataprotection(at)losch.lu. Our data protection team will be pleased to deal with your enquiries.

Facebook: Conversion Tracking / Visitor Action Pixel

On our website, we use the "Facebook Visitor Action Pixel". With its help, we can track users' actions after they have seen or clicked on a Facebook ad.

You have given your consent to the data collection as described above. If you are not older than 13 years, please ask a parent or guardian for the appropriate permission. The service provider is: Facebook Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA.

If you have been redirected to this website by clicking on one of our Facebook ads, the so-called conversion tracking has been activated by setting a cookie on your terminal device.

We use this technology to continuously improve the offers and quality of our Facebook pages and this website for you. Conversion tracking means that the usage and click behavior after clicking on an ad is tracked and evaluated in order to optimize the structure of our website and future ads for all users.

The information generated in this way cannot be linked to individual users, as it is anonymous for us. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook, about which we inform you according to our state of knowledge. Facebook may link this data to your Facebook account and also replace it for its own advertising purposes. You can find more information about this in Facebook's data policy: http://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php

Information about cookies and their use

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Cookies are divided into three categories:
